INDUSTRIES' WEEK.

PATRIOTISM IN TKADB. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Niglit. An interesting suggestion that "Dominion Industries Week" should be observed simultaneously from one end of New Zealand to the other, was made bv the president of the Auckland Provincial Association (Mr. S. J.. Ilarbutt) at the annual luncheon of members this afternoon. The' speaker expressed his opinion that they were not getting the most out of the "Local Industries Week" which had been held in the past. Ho thought that the Government might, lend its aid by instituting railway yxrursions for the occasion and by influencing the Education Department to publish in the. monthly School Journal special articles on Dominion manufactures, and reports on visits to factories, thus emphasising on the minds of the young the advantages of patronising Xow Zealand goods.
