EMPIRE PICTURES. A complete change of programme takes place at the Empire to-night, where a superior A.R. "star" drama, "The House of Discord," will be presented, the outlino of the story being as follows:—In her youth the mother was saTed from* the fatal mistake by an accident, but it caused her years of separation from child and husband. It had occurred primarily through her self-righteous sister-in-law's domination and interference. A like fate and downfall threatened ,tho daughter, now reaching maturity. TIIEATUE ROYAL PICTURES. The new programme last,night at the theatre Royal drew a very good aauiencc, and the subjects were of an excellently varied nature, satisfying all tastes.
