The Dominion weather bureau reports:— Summary.—The weather has been generally gloomy with much rain in the north and east coast districts. Strong easterly winds have prevailed, hut the barometer has been unsteady. Forecast.. —Present indications are for easterly to northerly winds, strong + .o g»le, cloudy and luifty weather with rain probable generally. The barometer is unsteady, but likely to rise temporarily i* the north, but fal fast soon in the south.
