A Train Tragedy
WOMAN PASSENGER MURDERED. VICTIM IDENTIFIED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, April 20. An unknown woman was murdered in a carriage of the London to Brighton express, near Three Bridges station. The train was l>:-.->::;;ht to a standstill through the communication cord. The woman's throat was cut, and she was stabbed in the heart. An ex-naval man, Harry Brooker, with a knife in his hand, jumped from the train at Three Bridges, but the guard captured him. Received 27, 8.15 p.m. London, April 27. The victim has been identified as Mr-;. Stone, Brooker*s fiancee.
