A thousand Thracian Greeks have reached Salonika, and fifteen thousand are awaiting boats on the coast in Thrace. The majority of the expelled are ill, exhausted and shelterless at Rodosto. The Turks declare tiiat only those becoming Mussulmans will be allowed to remain in Thrace.
