Matthews, Gamlin ami Co. report as follows:—On Wednesday last we held our usual weekly sale in our Inglewood yards, .and had a fair yarding of stock, most of which was disposed of at the hammer. We quote:—Springing cows £6, fat and forward do. £3 lOs to £5 9s Od, old and light stores 30s to £3 7s Bd, IS-months steers £2 15s to £3 12s fid, 18-months heifers £2 Is to £2 15s, hulls £3 14s to £5 Is, wcaner heifers 10.to 29s Od, weancr steers 25s to £2 ?.s 6d.

On Tuesday, 21st inst., we belli our usual fortnightly sale, in our Stratford yards. Owing to the heavy rain on -Monday night the yarding was small, only head of cattle coming forwari'. There was a fair demand and a good clearance, was effected, but weaners wcmv hardly so brisk as usual. The following prices were realised: Weauer steers, 10s for very small and inferior, 24s for fair quality, 31s for good, and up to 39s for very good line; weaner heifers, good stuff, made 235, 245, 255, and up to 31s for well-grown stuff; mixed weaners, 22s for medium, 25s (3d to 28s (ill for fair; 20-months heifers, coloured, made from 55s to 50c; 20month steers in good demand from 07s fid for fair to 72s for medium, to 74s for g«od lines; bulls, not in such good demand, made 97s Od for small to 105s for medium; store cows, not in such good demand, small and low conditioned 40s, 50s, 53s 6d, medium quality (i2s Od. 67s (id, fair conditioned and well grown, 70s, 775, to 81s; forward cows, 100s. 1153. 117s Cd; fat cows, up to 1425.
