BEHIND PRISON WALLS.
AUSTRALIAN CRIMINALS IM-
PRISONED.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, two men, Harry Wilson and Joseph Lawson (each having several aliases, and being described by the police as notorious Aus*tralian criminals) were charged with vagrancy. The police said the men arrived in Wellington a few weeks ago, and had "worked" various race meetings here, their special forte being apparently picking pockets. Both were stated to have served terms in prison. Wilson's record included two sentences of five years. They were sentenced to a month each.
