The Wellington Boxing Asso«'::itio* to-night discusßed attempts made by a ,syndicate to get control over the operations of at least one association in the Dominion, and it was suggested thut steps should be taken to approach Parliament for legislation providing for a properly constituted controlling body; with full power to govern the operation* of the various associations. Eventually, a resolution was carried recommending the incoming committee to take stcpß to see that a properly constituted board of control bo set up to govern 'boxing throughout the Dominion, and to lay down a policy for the management of the sport.
