BETWEEN STKLsIEKS A.ND TROOPS.
By Cable-Pre§s Association—Copyright Recoived, 21, 11.5 p.m. New York April 20. A battle between armed strikers and a small detachment of the armed Slate troops is proceeding at Trinidad, Colorado. Much bloodshed has resulted throughout the district. Several soldier, have been killed.
'The troops used a machine gun to enfilade the striKcrs' camp, and the strikers replied with heavy rifle fire. Finally the camp was destroyed. Many of the strikers were killed.
