OTAGO TOURNAMENT. JENNINGS M'INS THE SINGLES. Dunedin, Last Night. The conclusion of the Otago ICast,er | tourney promoted by the Otago Lawn Tennis Association was brought to a conclusion yesterday afternoon, when the finals of various championships and handicap events were played oil at Ander. son's Bay. The men's singles championship was won by L. S. Jennings (Oania(rn) from VVainc i'earse (Tcmuka), after la sterling contest, .6—o, o—3, (i—o. The ladies' championship singles were 'again won by Miss H. Campbell, who beat Miss M. Anderson in tlui final, o—o, 6—4. An exhibition doubles was played !>ei tweun Brown Bros, (winners of the J Otago championship) and Ollivier and J. S. 'Sinclair, and wjw won bv the. latter pair, 6—B, 7—fi, o—2, 4—fi, "o—4. I The following are the results:— Final of the grade liatidieap—T. IT. Meek (13-1) beat J. S. Nicholson (fi-0), !)—B. . Men's championship singles—Jennings beat Pearse, (j—o, (i—3. 6—o. Men's handicap doubles—'Wilkie and Bray beat McDougall and Black. Ladies' championship singles—Miss F. Campbell beat Miss M. Andersonfi (i—o. 6-4. Handicap doubles-Misses F. Campbell and R. Bngley beat Mcsda.mes MeAra and Wilson, 9—2. The ladies' handicap singles and mixed doubles are still incomplete.
