FIVE NURSES DOWN. J E;" Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Five nurses at the Wellington Hospital recently eontraeted a malady very like typhoid fever, (hi further examination, tlie illness* proved to he Para typlhoid, similar to typhoid, only lUincli milder. Jt is not followed by any <-omplicatious. Practically all the patients are now convalescent. All the cases have been traced to one patient, and the, epidemic has been particularly- infectious. The Health Department made an examination of the drains at the Children's 1 Hospital, and found them satisfactory.
