PROBLEM OF INTERMITTENT EMPLOYMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Separate conferences representing employers and employees in ithe boot trade of the Dominion were held in Wellington this morning for the purpose of considering the stale of the industry and wha't .steps should he taken to place it upon a better footing. Both conferences were conducted in private. In the afternoon a joint conference representing both sidkiS was held, .the proceedings again being held in camera.
