At the Randwick thoroughbred yearling sales, a Persian Knight—Puritan colt, from the South Wambo stud, fetched 1150 guineas. R. S. Falkiner, of New South Wales, was the purchaser. P. Reynolds' Bardolph—The Undine colt brought 725gns. G. L. Stead, of New Zealand, paid 320gns. for a Bardolph— Laza filly; J. Dunnett (New Zealand) paid for a Varco-Adria colt; and F. Davis (New Zealand) paid lOOgns for a Cyrus—The Tart filly. Received 15, 12.30 a.m. The top price for the day was realised by Thoibpsoii Bros, for their Ayr Laddie —Bright Alice colt, Moogns>., the purchaser being A. B. Nil gel, of Queensland.
