Panama Canal
THE PROPOSED EXEMPTION. NAVIGATION COMMISSIONER'S OPINION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 14, J1.55 p.m. Washington, April 14.
The State Canal Committee lias considered the Canal Bill from an economic viewpoint.

The exemption ought not to add any burdens to foreign shipping. Mr. Chamberlain favored subsidies instead.
