PRIEST AND ACOLYTES SHOT. PANIC IN A CATHEDRAL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright ReceivM 14, 11.5 p.m. Rome, April 14. Serious religious riots marked .the Easter recess. A priest and acolytes were wounded by revolver shots during a public procession at Pagnano Treviso. A dispute arose in the cathedral at Porto I'errajo between rival confraternities, and the congregations fled in panic, many being injured. Similar scenes occurred at Messina and Calabria. Images were smashed and scores of people wounded.
