THE RADIUM CURE.

Doctors complain that the world has gone mart over radium, causing the price to rise to a prohibitive, extent for small hospitals. Doctor Czernv, cancer specialist, slates that of 400 eases treated with radium only gave fairly good results. He strongly discourages the abandonment of surgieal treatment because the Tavs are ineffective at a depth of five centimetres. He suggests tlie removal of the affected part whjeji it is excisable and the use of radium as an after cure.
