The Council of the New Zealand Foothail Association met to-night, ft was decided to cable the Commonwealth Association Conference at Brisbane, asking on what terms thev would be prepared to send a team to New Zealand this season. It was decided to remove the ,-uspension imposed last season on the Corinthians' Club, but this will not interfere with the suspension as affecting certain players ami official* in connection with the Diamonds v. Corinthians match. . j
SATURDAY v. THURSDAY. An interesting imiteh should result from the meeting of those old rivals, Saturday and Thursday footballers, in the Sports Ground cn Saturday afternoon.
