ENORMOUS LIST OF ENTRIES. NEW ZEALAND AWARDS. By Cable Press Association-—Copyright 7, 8.30 p.m. \ Sydney, April 7. Ihe Royal Show opened to-day in line weather. There were 8500 entries, and •C7OOO was awardad in prize-money. New Zealand awards included: Thoroughbred stallion, Bon Hannibal, third; trotting stallion, four years and over, Ribbonwood first and Belmont second. Ribbouwood's progeny scored a first and second in one-year trotting stallions, first and third in brood mares, three years and over, and first in one-year filly. Flavinius was the champion stallion. LATER PARTICULARS. Received 8, 12.10 a.m. Sydney, April 7. The rains of a few weeks ago ensured a splendid attendance at the show. The exhibits were an excellent lot in practically all departments. Additional New Zealand awards were: Clydesdale stallion, four years and over, Mount Royal, first; three years, Sir Garland, second; two years, the New Zealand bred Up-to-date, second; active farm Cyldesdiile mares, Lady Ida, first; heavy Clydesdale mares, four years or over, Princess Fanny, first and champion. All the former were New Zealand-bred. The display of sheep was the best yet. John Nixon took all the prizes in English Leicesters, being the only exhibitor.
