It is estimated that the stock in (ireat Britain and Montreal on the 2nd February as compared with last year shows a shrinkage of 138,714 boxes, and. notwithstanding the big increase in shipments of New Zealand cheese, this increase does not compensate for the tremendous shortage of Canadian, ;ind it is estimated that the total supply, including all quantities on the water, is 411,224 cheese less than at the same period last year. The market continues firm. Xew Zealand: There has been a good demand throughout the week and prices show (id to Is improvement, Colored cheese is making a premium of 2s cwt. ] over white.
