AX AUCKLAND ASSAULT CASK. By Tc'ngraph—Press Association. Auckland, Monday. At the Supreme Court, Mr. Justice' Cooper sentenced Harry Magiiu'saon to two years' gaol on three charges of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm. The case arose out of feeling which arose between the old Watersiders' Union and the new one. Judge Cooper said it was possible that Mugnusson had some feeling because he could not get work on the wharf, but using a knife on an ollicer of the union was not the way to vent his feelings. Prisoners who had pleaded guilty in the lower Court were brought up* for sentence at tile Supreme Court this morning. More liis Honor Mr. Justice Cooper.
