A ballot has been proceeding among marine engineers in regard to the urnposed expulsion of the X'ew Zealand members. The New South Wales branch decided by a large majority in favor of expulsion. Received 7, 1.5 a.m. The reason given for the expulsion of the New Zealand engineers is the alleged breach of the rule to the effect that marine engineers must not do the work of any other section of workers on strike. The voting was 721 in favor of expulsion and ti,"> against. The voting in the. other States is not yet available.
