Tn the Supreme Court, Charles Leonard Leamon Hankins, a youth, was charged with forgery and uttering. He was admitted to probation for three years and ordered to find employment and not leave it without the consent of the probation officer. The accused was of a roving disposition. He owed 30s for board, and having a cheque for £1 lis altered it to £2 lis. Peter Hembery was sentenced to six years' imprisonment for an unnatural offence.
