* SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph —Press Association. ; Wellington, Last Night. The Dominion Meteorologist furnishes the following summary and forecast: — . Summary: A storm area has nassed • southward of New Zealand. The weather has been unsettled and showery, about Foveaux Strait, and squall" westerlies have ruled as far North a* Cook Strait, but conditions have been generally warm and fine. The barometer has i been unsteady, but has shown a rising tendency to-day. Forecast: Present indications are for moderate to 6trong south-westerly wiads, changing by west to northerly, then increasing. Warm and fair to cloudy weather is probable generally, but continuing unsettled on file West Coftst and southern districts. The baroKser iaa now a risuig tendency, but ',wßl probably fall again everywhere
