MR. MONROE-FERGUSON FAREWELLED. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright London, March 31. Mr. Asquith, Mr. and Mrs. Harcourt. Lord and Lady Emmott, and Captain and Mrs. Collins attended the farewell luncheon given by Scottish Liberal members of Parliament to Mr. and .Mrs. Munroe-Ferguson at the House of Commons. Mr. Cathcart Wason presided. Mr. Asquith in informally proposing Mr. Munroe-Ferguson's health, paid a tribute to his long Parliamentary services and said he was quite the right stamp of man for Governor-General of one of the new democracies. ■
