The Yorkshire miners have decided not to suspend their notices pending a conference of 120,000 members strong. A cable message receiyed yesterday was to the effect that the Conciliation Board Committee had arrived at a settlement of the South Yorkshire dispute, provided the strike notices were withdrawn.

Very little frozen meat arrived for loading to-day. The «ncn refused to handle frozen rabbits for the Medic. Mr. Hughes states that the men have been notified to work frozen cargo.
