EAST END COMMITTEE.

To the Editor. Sir,—The Urenui school committee wish to convey their thanks to the East End Beach Committee for a very enjoyable liny spent by the Urenui school children'on the East End beach, and for all amusements provided there for the pleasure of the general public at great expense. We also wish to especially thank those who took part in the lifesaving demonstration for the children, conducted by Mr, Lints, it being a most instructive demonstration—one that well deserves consideration and support of all parents of children in town and country. —I am, etc., A. ir. HALCOMBE, Chairman I'renui School Committee.
