By Cable—Press Association—Copyright T , ~, Sydney, March 25. liic lasmanian Rowing Association has asked the New South Wales Association to .support tho application of New Zealand oarsmen to be allowed to send a crew to the forthcoming championships in Victoria. It is understood the executive lias replied to the effect that each competitor must sign the necessary declaration set out by the Inter-State Conference. Thi< revives the euestion whether New Zealand oarsmen are amateurs according to the New South Wales definition.
