STEFFANSON'S EXPEDITION.
A SEARCH PARTY SENT. By Cable —Press Association—Copj right Ottawa, March 24. The Canadian Government has chartered the whaler Herman at San Francisco to search for Stcfausson's party in the Arctic. Captain Pedersen,leader of the search, believes that the Karluk was lost in the ice north of Point Barrow.
