PUBLIC SERVICE APPEALS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymouth, Tuesday. The Public Service Appeal Board sat here hearing objections to classification, and left to-day for Christehuveh. PETTY PILFERING AND BURGLARY. Auckland, Last Night. An epidemic of burglary anil petty thefts seems to bo passing over Auckland, judging by the number of cases that have recently been reported to the police. Tiie latest ease is of a particularly daring kind, having been committed in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon in the New North road, where a grocer is a loser to a considerable extent.
