A SCIENTIFIC EXPEDITION. EXPLORING PARTY FOR NEXT YEAR By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Stockholm, March 22. Admiral Palander, chairman of .the Antarctic Committee awl Society of Anthropology and Geography, has outlined plans for an expedition, to cost 27,000 kroner, starting in the summer of 1915, and expected ,to lie absent Jive years. Six scientists, including two Englishmen, will participate. Half the cost will be provided by the British Museum, the Royal Society and the Royal Geographical Society. The scientific collections made will be divide* between Sweden and England.
SOME OF THE OBJECTS. Received 23, 11.10 p.m. Stockholm, March 23. Inlander's expedition is intended to complete Nordenskjold's investigations. The Graliamsland base will be on the east coast of Antarctic Sound. Special attention will be paid to mountain riyflgeg and their possible connection with ihe mountain system of South America. Attention will also centre on. fossil formations, glacier process and, variations.
