The Dominion Meteorologist forwards the following summary and forecast:— Summary.—The barometer has been sesy Wgh in the South, but fell on Sunday, and is now comparatively low. 3Da the North rain has fallen vn many parts, with strong southerly winds, and jthe weather is generally dull. Forecast.—Present indications are for Bfrong S. tf SJE. winds, cloudy and misty weather, v tb. rain over the North Island an;' the East Coast of the South Wand; heavy rain probable, with rivers rising between the East Cape and —-Oastlepohrt. Barometer unsteady, rising temporarily in the South.
