The fourth round of the North Tannaki Cricket Association's senior competition was continued on Saturday, when Law defeated United Service aiid the match between Tikorangi and Xew Plymouth was drawn in favor of the former. LAW v. UNITED SERVICE. One of the most exciting finishes of the season resulted from the meeting of these two teams, which resulted in a victory for Law by the. narrow margin of three runs, the game being in doubt until the last wicket of the. Service team fell. Law batted fust and notched 155 runs, of which Bewley and Lash contributed 22 and 43 respectively. Ron. Quilliam played a good, forceful innings for 45. Jolmson made Hi. and the remainder of the scores were small. Service replied with 152, of wine!' Colvile's 09 was the principal feature. Following are the scores: LAW. Tikorangi batted lirst and compiled ICI runs, of which the partnership or Scrimgeour and C. Wilson was the outstanding feature. Scrimgeour making H 8 and C. Wilson 48.
