At a meeting of the executive oi the Taranaki Bowling Centre, yesterday, it was decided that the play-off for' the banner shall take place at 'the Stratford green on Wednesday next, the 2.3 th iust. There are three clubs left in—llawera, Opunake, and New Plymouth—and in the draw Ilawera obtained the live. Opunake and New Plymouth will therefore play in, the morning, the winner meeting Ilawera in the afternoon. At the same meeting the secretary was instructed to write to the -"resident, of the ITawcra Club asking him to convey the condolences of. the Centre to the relatives of the late Mr 1!. Reilly, secretary of the Hawera Clv.li, who died suddenly last week.
