LORD MURRAY AND MARCONIS.
THE HOUSE OF LORDS' INQUIRY.

Before the Murray Inquiry Committee, charges were formulated containing new matter, accusing him of attempting to get a contract rectified in the House of Commons without a real discussion, to prevent his dealings in chares being disclosed.
Mr. Shearman, counsel for Lord Murray, complained that the charge was incomprehensible and inadmissablc. Lord Halsbury stated that the committee would investigate only the charge where Lord Murray was personally concerned. Mr. W. Upjohn, K.C., on behalf of the. Morning Post, contended that Loid Murray took advantage of information received from Godfrey Isaacs and translated it into a cash equivalent.
