Hv Cable —Press Association—Copyright New York. March 17. Two hundred ami lifty girl students lied for their lives when a fire broke out in the college hall at Wellesley, Massachusetts. Many groped their way through smoke, which filled the rooms, and descended the lire escapes. No one was injured. A hundred other college residents were also imperilled, but escaped. The slightest panic would inevitably have caused a holocaust. Thi' college was completely wiped out.
