SALE OF THOROUGHBR' ;,. I'.y Telegraph—l're.,s Association. Hastings, March 14. There was a fair attendance at the sale of Mr. G. P. Donnelly's thoroughhrcds at Greenmeadows on Saturday morning. Bidding was slow at first, but afterwards brightened up. and some very good prices were realised. The sales were: Hi' f, bv Formative—Eautuku Mr J. Lawric (Rangitikei), 27gs. Br f, Mr A. W. Rutherford, 105gs. TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB. The monthly meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club and District Committee was held hist night, but owing to the fact that the secretary is out of town, only urgent correspondence was attended to, the balance of the business being held over until next meeting.
