WELLINGTON MATCHES.. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The semi-finals of the cricket championships were advanced another stage on Saturday. Central beat Petone, but the latter still leads on points, and will meet North in the final. Central made 69 and 140 for four wickets against lactone's 7!) and 122 for five wickets (Brice 50). North, 120 and 165, beat East 8., 65 and 88.
FIXTURES POSTPONED: The cricket fixtures set down for Saturday afternoon were postponed jn account of the weather. All fixtures will therefore be put on one week.
