AUSTRALIAN MEAT.
REDUCTION OF WAR OFFICE ORDERS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 14, 5.30 .p.m. London, March 14. In the House of Commons, Mr. R. Hunt asked whether the War Office's orders for Australian meat had been reduced because it was infected with a parasitic worm. Colonel Seely replied that it was found. necessary to excise portion of the carcases to make sure that the parasite was not present. This applied to all meat imporated from Australia.
