PRIZES FOR GRASS SEED.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have just received advice from their Hastings branch that they have secured numerous prizes for the principal lines of grass seeds at the Hastings Show, as follows:—Hawke's Bay ryegrass, 1, 2 and v.h.c; Italian ryegrass, 1 and 2; cocksfoot, 1 and 2cowgrass, 1 and 2. '
Also first for the following:—Chewing Fescue, Danthonia, Alaike, Cape Barley White Tartar oats, Tartar King oats Chevalier barley; white clover, 2 and 3*
