TWELVE CANDIDATES WANTED to enter for THE QUEEN OF THE CARNIVAL ELECTION. Seven of whom may be elected—one as Queen and six as Ladies-in-Waiting. In the actual election, however, you can only vote for one candidate, Tiz., for the lady you choose as Queen. Tiie prize will be awarded to the lady who tops the poll, and who will be publicly crowned in the Recreation Grounds. How to nominate a candidate:—Members of societies, sports elubs, reserve committees, select a candidate from your own circle of friends, then as a commniittee do your best to further her candidature by securing her votes, as in an ordinary election. Three free votes will be allowed all. A coupon will appear in this paper, which may be used as bona fide votes for candidates. NOMINATIONS CLOSE FINALLY on FRIDAY, at 3 p.m., with R. ELLIS, Hon.
