ENTERTAINMENTS.

PAUL DUFAULT TO-NIGHT. The farewell concert of that most popular of all singers Paul Dufault, will tako place to-night at the Theatre Royal. There will be a complete change of programme from that of his previous concert here. Mr. Dufault'a operatic number will be the well-known "Lend me you Aid," from the "Queen of Sheba." His other numbers will comprise many beautiful ballads, including the dramatic classic, "How's my Boy?" of which an Adelaide critic says: ''Dufault has given us many songs, but he lias given us nothing more wonderful than the mother's imperative, impassioned and insistent questioning, 'How's my Boy?' It got Adelaide on its feet, and that takes some doing." Miss Bindley's principal item will be the "Folic, Folio" aria from "Traviata." She will also sing a group of English ballads. Ernest Toy's violin solos will include the popular "Faust Fantasia." Harold Whittle will again prove a tower of strength to the company. The concert to-night will bo the last appearance of the Dufault company in N«w Plymouth, as they are now en route to Australia. THEATRE ROYAL TO-MORROW. " THE HYPNOTIC SPELL." There will be no pictures showing at the Theatre Royal to-night owing to the Paul Dufault concert. To-morrow night the pictures will again occupy the theatre, when a complete change of films Will be presented, the chief attraction being a remarkable photo-play by the Vitagraph Co., entitled "The.'Hypnotic Spell." dealing with the doings of a travelling hypnotist who uses his powers for evil purposes, but is finally brought to justice by a young doctor.
