Hunter, of Christchurch. presiding, a resolution was adopted rejecting; the suggestion for a mutual agreement with (he Liberal narty for election purposes. Tt \TC9 resolved that candidates could only bo nominated on a "lrintoe of ten per cent of the voters at the preceding election. If this was not forthcoming, the nartv would not only not nominate the candidate but oppose anyone nominated in the name of Labor li-r other means.
