CONFERENCE WITH I'RANCE. By Cable—Press Association -Copyright London, March 10. In the House of < ommons. Mr. Ac land, in reply to Sr Gilbert Parker, said': "The first suggestion for a conference regarding the New Hebrides was made last summer. Since then France hits asked us to state in greater detail the matters we desire to discuss. This was done in November, after consultation with Australia and New Zealand. We are hoping that France may be able to agree that the conference shall, meet at an early date."
