AUCKLAND WOOL SALES. l!y Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the last and cleaning up wool sale of tlie season held to-day, 1836 bales were offered. The greater portion of the wool was of moderate and poor quality, hut competition was keen, January prices being well maintained, while in some cases there was a slight advance. An exceptionally good clearance of all lyics.was effected. The following bliowb -flic range of prices: Fino Merino lOd to 10% d, fine crossbred' 10y 2 d to lid, medium crossbred 9'/ 2 d to 10% d, coarse crossbred 9%d to 9%d, inferior 8d to 9d, pieces fid to 7d, crutchings C'/.d to 7Va<l, locks 4d to sd, lambs superior lOd to 11'/jd, seedy 0y 2 d .to Bd.
