HIGHER EDUCATION.
UNIVERSITY RECONSTRUCTION. . VITAL PROBLEMS INCLUDED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Friday. The District Court of Convocation of Victoria University was held this evening, whim the Senate's Bill proposing the reeonstitution of the University of New Zealand was discussed. A resolution was adopted approving of the principle of the proposed amendment of the University Act. but expressing the opinion that it leaves unsolved the vital problems of New Zealand University education, concerning which Parliament should set up a Royal Commission of investigation.
