Terrazas declared he was penniless owing to the Constitutionalists confiscating his immense wealth, and that the United States I Consul waa unable to act, and the rebels had partially strangled his son until he, personally, agreed to pay half-a-m'illion of lis own money, the remainder being then demanded from the General. It is likely a personal appeal will be made to Secretary Bryan. A BLOODLESS ENGAGEMENT. Mexico City, March 5. The first naval engagement of the Mexican revolt ended without bloodshed, the vessels contenting themselres with long-range broadsides.
