Britain & Germany

NAVAL PROGRAMMES. SIZE OF CAPITAL SHIPS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, March 3. Mr. Churchill, in reply to Mr. Allen Baker concerning the British and German shipbuilding programmes, said the displacements of all the British battleships had been considerably below those of almost all the latest that were being constructed abroad. The Admiralty was willing to join in an agreement limiting the size of capital ships.

CHARGE AGAINST BRITAIN. Received 5, 1 a.m. Berlin, March 4.
