Moderate to strong westerly winds have ruled generally, but a north-norbli-east gale is reported this afternoon at Kai--7 ' t'ura. The barometer has. risen slightly. Forecast: Present indications are for * .riable winds with moderate to strong westerlies prevailing, and fair to cloudy .weather generally. The barometer is unsteady, with a rising tendency.
