AFFORESTATION.
PROPOSED PRISON CAMI\ By Telegraph—Press Association. Taihape. Last Night. It is stated on good authority that the Government intends to acquire several hundred acres of land in the vicinity of the Tongariro National Park for the purpose of establishing a prison eainp in connection with the scacme of afforestation by prison labor. It ii understood that accommodation will be nrovided for 25 men.
