FINAL APPEARANCE OF AMERICAN'S. Bv Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. There was brilliant weather this afternoon for the final appearance of the American athletes at the meeting on the Ihisin Reserve arranged by the N'.Z.A.A.A. The attendance was in the region of 251)0, and the public were treated to a most interesting programme. The Americans showed themselves in much better form that on any previous Wellington visit. Tower particularly convinced the public with his line showing in the mile, and Templeton was in magnificent jumping form. Parker, the sprinter, ran well, hut was too heavily handicapped to win.
